Range: 100 ft + 10 ft per additional level of experience.

  The treecat can sense the emotions and intentions of others within its range
with unerring accuracy. Linked with Sixth Sense, one cannot surprise attack a
treecat, even from behind, and hope to survive unscathed.

Telepathy (Special):
Range: 1 mile + 1 mile per additional level of experience

Duration: at will
Saving Throw: Conditional, undesired transmissions may be cut-off with Mind
Block
Treecats can communicate through telepathy with others of their kind. This is
not just the transmission of images or sensations, but the actual thoughts of
the treecat, as if it were speaking. This form of telepathy is reduced somewhat,
to an empathic level, when communicating with it's 'person'. A treecat can sense
the well-being and general whereabouts of it's bonded mate or 'person' at great
distances. This costs nothing and is the treecats' natural means of
communicating with others.

Empathic Transmission (Special):
Range: 100 feet + 10 feet per level

Duration: constant link
Saving Throw: None! What one feels, so does the other.
It is through this mental link that the treecat establishes a bond with its
'person'. Emotions, sensations, and even at times, mental images can be sent in
two-way communication. The transmission of these images requires practice on the
part of the 'person', but with time becomes easier. (Note: this in no way
implies the ability to control the treecat or vice versa. The two are mutually
linked as one entity.)

Mind Bond (Special):
Range: infinity at low level 'presence sensing', however the actual transmission
range is 60 ft.
I.S.P. Cost: 4 I.S.P. per image or idea sent (none for low level sensing).
Duration: low level is constant, or up to 2D6 minutes.
Saving Throw: standard; failure constitutes successful reception of sent images
or ideas.
Once in its life, a treecat may come into contact with a human, catch a whiff of
its emotions, and mentally bond with the individual for life! This contact can
only be broken by death, resulting in the mental trauma suffered by the
remaining half of the pair. The pair shares its emotions and sensations, and can
mentally cummunicate, in a limited fashion, with each other. Conceivably, with
practise, this link could be strengthened to permit the actual transmission of
images by concentration and experimentation.
