Presenting Complaint:  A superficial cutaneous incision penetrating the
avascular keratinous layers of epithelia beginning proximally on the mid-dorsal
aspect on metacarpo-phalangeal joint II and extending distally for approximately
3.72 centimeters along a ventrally flattened semilunar path encompassing the
full abaxial boundary of the first proximal phalanx of the second digit of the
right thoracic limb and terminating on the plantar-lateral aspect of the
proximal interphalangeal joint of the second digit with minimal superficial
cutaneous nerve involvement observed.
