The Alien She ran down the hill and ran smack into the alien. He, er, it was green and silver and had slender black antennae on the top of its large body. It seemed to be made of a very hard substance, (as her knee was telling her), that a shiny metallic surface. The alien had quasi-rectangular clear areas that seemed to show its inner parts. It had very strange internal organs. They were tan and black with a few burgundy areas. There were large curved vertical protrusions and some smaller black stick-like objects. As she was staring at the alien, it made a loud roaring noise and began to vibrate. As she leaped back, she noticed that it had started spewing clouds of dark noxious fumes into the air from the back left corner of its carapace, just beneath the shiny bar of silver. She then realized that its black and silver squatty legs were not moving, and warily resumed her scrutiny of the strange being. It had curved bars of silver that projected slightly beyond the edges of two of its ends and little silver indentations regularly spaced, two on each of the alien's long sides. A man, seemingly curious, walked up and touched the alien. Suddenly, what must have been the alien's mouth opened up and with a loud noise swallowed the man whole! Then the green and silver alien from Mercury pulled out of the lot and drove down the road.
